SENDIASS is the Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities Information, Advice and Support Service for Torbay. It is a free, confidential and impartial information and advice service, set up to support parents and carers of children aged 0-25 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
SENDIASS also provides advice and support to children and young people from 0-25 who have special educational needs or disabilities (SEND), easily accessible information around all aspects of education, health and social care.
SENDIASS is a service that works closely with partners including the local authority, schools, social services, health organisations and the voluntary sector. We are part of the National Information Advice and Support Service Network (IASSN) that operates throughout the whole of the UK.
